Sonic and the Trans Formers - Chapiter 1 Part 3

Don: <Camaro mode> I think we got away for the moment, that is if Borf does not send anyone-anybody after us.

Wade: Maybe they did not know we were spying on them.

Sonic: <monster truck mode> Oh, I bet they did find out even though none of them showed up to stop us.

Tails: <orange blossom special truck mode> Sent the Terminators to try and stop us.

Knuckles: <black gold truck mode> Which we easily defeated.

Wade: I got everything on my iPhone, wait until Tom sees everything.

Don: Really, you recorded us in battle? <Wade nods> Cool, can’t wait to see for myself.

Then the swords expert detected movement coming up fast and announced.

Don: We got company, Ravage is chasing us.

Sonic: Who?

Don: One of the two pets whom Mega Mind takes care of, a mountain lion <briefly shows image> That’s Ravage.

Sonic: Uh-oh...

Tails: How can we lose him?

Don: We can try to shake him off our tail going through the forest grove.

Knuckles: Good idea. Let’s do it.

Whipple looked into the rearview mirror seeing the mountain lion chasing them then gasped, dropped low in the driver’s seat as laser-fire exploded around the fleeing autos.

Wade: He’s shooting at us? <panics> Holy crap!

Knuckles: <gets mad> Let me at him, I’ll bash him good.

Don: Go ahead, see if you can hit him but try to avoid being zapped in the process.

The echidna warrior briefly changed to his normal self glowing bright red as he wheeled about then leaped into the air swinging his spike gloves landing a blow to the mountain lion who shrieked in pain and anger, tried swiping at him with his claws but Knuckles flipped out of reach dodging laser beams shot at him.

Knuckles: Ha-ha, missed me. <dodges more shots> Not even close. <transforms back into Black Gold truck mode> Try and catch me if you can.

In response Ravage shot more beams from his eyes trying to stun Knuckles until he was slammed by Sonic who briefly changed into his normal self as a spinning blue ball glowing bright blue that is, bouncing back in the opposite direction then changing back to his monster truck mode and racing away. Now Ravage went after the fastest thing alive trying to zap Sonic with his lasers but he swerved side-to-side throwing off the mountain lion’s aim. Once again it was Wade recording everything with his iPhone.

Wade: Man, oh, man. That cat doesn’t quit or give up, it’s as if he feels no pain whatsoever.

Don: He too has dark powers like his owner Mega Mind.

Wade: Good grief...<quotes Charlie Brown>

Now it was Tails again creating various clones of himself confusing Ravage who began shooting in all directions, taking out the clones as they vanished then it was Tails flying away to rejoin his comrades, of course transforming back into the Orange Blossom Special.

Don: I think you really riled him up. He probably hates you by now. <laughs in vehicle mode> Now let’s try and lose him in the woods.

He led the way followed by his friends as they raced into the grove of trees and now followed a dirt road-path winding in and out among the trees that seemed to reach for the sky. It took all of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles skills to stay on course as they felt themselves slip and slide on the gravel surface even though their newfound powers aided them in not losing control that is. Just ahead the dirt road was crossed by a rough track running along the bottom of a deep, narrow gully. Davis led the way executing a perfect four-wheel drift onto the track startling Whipple briefly as he hung onto the steering wheel with eyes wide.

Wade: Great Scott! <quotes Emmett’s famous cry> I thought you were going to lose it.

Don: Nonsense, I’m a skilled driver. <calls back> You guys okay back there?

Sonic-Tails-Knuckles: Yes! <shout together in vehicle modes>

Knuckles: What’s your plan?

Don: We’ll let Ravage think he has us cornered. Then...when he gets ready to attack, we hit him in his weak spot.

Sonic: I know...the groin. <rolls his eyes in monster truck mode>

Knuckles: Hell-yeah!

Tails: Let’s do it.

Of course the track itself was covered with weeds and dead leaves making it easy for Ravage to spot cut-ruts in the ground. Thinking or believing he had his prey cornered and at his mercy the mountain lion bounded around a blind corner but as he did so...he was suddenly blasted full force by the powers of Don, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles using their magic as one force. Shrieking in pain Ravage went crashing into the side of the gully then collapsed unconscious onto his back and side in the dirt.

Sonic: We got him!

Tails: All right!

Knuckles: Yes, take that you stupid feline!

Don: Down and out for the 10-count. Back to headquarters.

Wade: Before that cat wakes up and decides to chase us again.

When Ravage did regain his senses there was no sign or trace of his prey anywhere. Growling to himself the mountain lion prowled about aimlessly with no luck whatsoever. That is, until he made another discovery so to speak when he came upon a railroad tunnel leading into darkness and after exploring about curiously ran back to Decepticon home base where he played the hologram images to his leader who grinned to himself.

Borf: It would seem our so called intruders whoever they were did us a big favor.

Robotnik: Oh, they did? <looks curious>

Borf: Yes they did. This railroad tunnel is just what we need to test out the ion-drive. I can also build my space-drive test rig within that tunnel too.

Robotnik: How about we check it out to see if it’s big enough, just to make sure.

Borf: Of course, doctor.

Mega Mind: Let’s be on our way.

Moments later they were exploring the entire tunnel from end to end so to speak. Ravage wandered about sniffing the air and ground like all cats do as his owner made calculations of the dimensions.

Mega Mind: This entire structure measures to at least sixteen hundred meters long with a diameter of five meters at its circumference.

Robotnik: The exact measurements of the space-drive test rig.

Mega Mind: I’ll get in touch with home base to have the rest of the gang arrive to begin construction at once.

Borf: Nothing will dare stand in my way of conquest of the universe.

Robotnik: Can’t wait to witness the test runs of the ion-drive.

Meanwhile it was Don Davis letting his brother know what he found out about Borf’s plans of testing his power system.

Don: So it seems Borf is desperate to get his ion-drive up and running again.

Ace: Which means we must make sure it does not succeed.

Tom: How do you plan on doing that?

Ace: We destroy the space-drive test rig so Borf won’t be able to carry out the tests.

Tom: Okay, but we need to find out where the Decepticons plan on doing the tests.

Ace: Right. See if you can figure out where Borf is going to perform the tests on his power system.

Don: Be back before you know it, bro.

So he left again to spy on enemy headquarters but was back with bad news.

Don: They’re gone. The entire fortress was empty when I showed up.

Tails: How it that possible? <confused>

Don: The Decepticons, Terminators and Ivo Robotnik must’ve departed for parts unknown.

Kimberly: Oops, not good.

Knuckles: So now we must find those dark-magic users and fast. <scowls>

Maggie: But where should we start looking for them? That’s the question.

Ace instructed Hal-2000 (2001 A Space Odyssey and 2012 The Year We Made Contact) to try and pinpoint where the opposition disappeared so to speak and it didn’t take Hal long enough to track down the whereabouts of the Decepticons in record time. Within seconds a three dimensional map was created of the countryside beyond Green Hills.

Hal: I predict the Decepticons and Terminators are somewhere in this area. <brings up a close-up view of small hills>

Sonic: What’s in that area anyway?

Tom: It was once occupied by quarry sites where workers made cement to repair damages to road surfaces.

Doc Brown: Affirmative, simply mix rock powder with water and you get cement.

Sonic: Wow...

Wade: Unfortunately the quarries closed or shut down operations years ago and now are left to the elements of nature.

Tails: Oh, so they’re no longer in use.

Maggie: Afraid not. Resembling ghost towns of the 1800 decades.

Knuckles: But that would be the perfect place for Robotnik and the Decepticons to work undisturbed.

Ace: My thoughts exactly echidna warrior.

Doc Brown: Might be worth having a look for ourselves.

Hal: Negative, Doctor Brown. Borf would have the Terminators and Hunter Killers on patrol constantly to keep out unwanted visitors.

Doc Brown: Oh, sorry I mentioned it.

Hal: It’s okay. I’m sure my creator will come up with something in no time.

Ace: That I will. We have all the time necessary to stop Borf and his horde.

That is when Tom and Maggie invited the Autobots to join them for dinner at their home and they accepted the invitation. Soon after Ace, Don, Cindy, Kimberly, Duke, Kim, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails were enjoying earth-food while the Autobots told about their world in 2029 and what it was like on that Earth long before the Decepticons would begin the war-games to conquer the planet with help from Sky-Net of course. Then it was Tom and Maggie telling about visiting amusement theme parks when they were kids growing up years ago such as Disney and Universal to be exact. Describing how audio animatronics created a three dimensional form of animation where robot characters acted out scenes on the attractions as if the guests were living their own story adventure so to speak. What it was like to be a Disney character interacting with the guests especially children asking for autographs, posing for photographs and so forth.

Maggie: We never get tired going back to the Disneyland or Walt Disney World resorts whenever something new debuts.

Tom: The parks keep growing and changing over the years.

Sonic: Amazing. And it was all started with a cartoon mouse named Mickey.

Kim: Walt must’ve been a expert in creating animated films as well as building his theme park.

Tom: Yes, he wanted Disneyland to be a special place for parents and children to have fun together.

Kimberly: What a tragic ending to the master showman when he passed away.

Maggie: Yes, it was a tragic death that took the life of Walt from too much smoking.

Knuckles: Huh, smoking?

Tom: A deadly habit where people like us <indicates himself and his wife> smoke a lot, whether from pipes, cigarettes or cigars.

Duke: It creates lung cancer that makes it impossible for air to pass through the lungs.

Knuckles: Whoa! <eyes go wide>

Tails: Can it be cured?

Cindy: Yes, with proper medical treatment to kill the cancer before it can spread throughout the body, a person can survive.

Maggie: Unfortunately in Walt’s case however, it was too late to save his life and he died in December of 1966.

Sonic: Oh, no. <sad look>

Don: If I recall correctly and I do...his brother Roy Disney took over the company and in 1971 when another Disneyland theme park opened in Orlando Florida, he dedicated that park in honor of his brother Walt calling it Walt Disney World.

Tom: Correct a mundo.

Don: Thanks...

Tails: So there were two Disney parks, one in Anaheim and in Orlando?

Ace: <nods> Then the Disney magic traveled around the world to Japan, China and France.

After dinner everyone watched videotaped footage of attractions that Tom, Wade, Maggie, Emmett, Heather rode at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World with Team Sonic imagining themselves at those parks enjoying the same magic too. Hours later the Autobots said goodnight and returned to their home base to bed down for the night so to speak. In the morning, final preparations were made to launch a strike against the Decepticons within the abandoned quarry.

Ace: So it will be Cindy going with Sonic and Tails into the quarry to seek out the whereabouts of Borf and his horde within the quarry.

Kimberly: Then the rest of us move in swift and fast to take out his power system.

Knuckles: And I get another chance or opportunity to hit that warlord in the groin. <bangs gloves together>

Duke: I bet if you can do it without being struck by the Infanto Ray, then who knows?

Knuckles: Oh, is this a bet or dare? <leers>

Duke: Something like that. <same look right back>

Knuckles: Deal. <they shake on it>

Of course Nukem did not cry out in pain or show it when the echidna shook hands with him due to his strength of course. Knuckles said that Stone the assistant who worked with Robotnik felt the pain of his grip and of course Sonic after he saved the echidna’s life from drowning, he too cried out in surprise and pain.

Kim: What did you dare him to do?

Duke: To see if he could knock Borf down in his weak spot without being hit by the Infanto Ray.

Kim: Uh-oh...<rolls her eyes>

Tom: I’ll go too with Cindy to watch her back so no one gets the jump on her.

Cindy: As you wish.

Maggie: I’ll stick with Ace and company to make the assault.

Don: Suit yourself lady.

Kimberly: So we all got the plan down? <everyone nods>

Ace: The future of the universe depends on all of us destroying the forces of evil.

Seconds later a Porsche 911 sports car with Tom, Tails and Sonic aboard raced away from Autobot HQ in search of a railroad line because as Tom pointed out the line lead directly into the quarry and beyond the former work site was a railroad tunnel too.
