Sonic Lost Worlds
After a long series of events, our spy Badniks finally sent us some information. Here's their report:
[13/08/22:010012]- We infiltrated Sega's headquarters.
[13/08/22:032134]- We obtained the highest security pass.
[13/08/22:033231]- Collecting data.
[13/08/22:040218]- Sensors indicate we got spotted. Engaged Running Away! function.
[13/08/22:044556]- Failure in attempt to escape.
[13/08/22:044557]- ...
[13/09/28:223401]- Emergency: Sending data to base's satellite.
Ouch. We will send a team to retreive the poor robots to safety.
To summarize what is up, the next Sonic games Sonic Lost World on Wii U and 3DS are little gems!
Story Intro
Sonic and Tails are trying to stop Robotnik once again, asking him to release the animals he caught in a capsule. Without giving a single care, Robotnik sends the capsule falling down! While the heroes are busy to save the animals, Robotnik shoots at the Tornado, making it crash on a floating planet (Little Planet meets Settlers of Catan?) where they will meet the Deadly Six, a group of an alien species called "Zeti". Robotnik will try to control them. Alas, Sonic will screw his plans again but this time Sonic will be in trouble too!
Design
We will see again the good old Badniks of Sonic 1, 2 and 3 but in 3D (Though most of them are way larger compared to the Genesis!)! Mid-bosses are back too. And so are the little aliens from Sonic Colors, because Sonic needs alien powers to fight other aliens. Makes sense!
The Wii U and 3DS versions are different, much like how Sonic Generations White (Home consoles/PC) and Blue (3DS) were different. Though, this will be the first handheld game to have a fully 3D gameplay. And information will be transferable between the two consoles (like controlling an in-game device on the Wii U with the 3DS).
We'll talk about Sonic & Mario at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games *gasp*... in a later article.
