WMAC Masters the Animated Series
Posted: Tue Aug 09, 2016 9:32 pmThe stories I'm creating at the moment "WMAC MASTERS the Animated Series" is a parody crossover of the one-time 1990s television show featuring real experts of the martial arts competing against each other in a so-called MORTAL KOMBAT style tournament created by the World Martial Arts Council and hosted by Shannon Lee the daughter of kung fu television star Bruce Lee and sister of deceased brother Branden Lee. It ran for two seasons depicting the WMAC Masters fighting each other in Battle Zones against Kabuki warriors, Ninja warriors, 1-on-1 fighting in the Battle Zones then two masters faced off inside a circular steel caged Battle Dome where the winner earned a KI symbol talisman for his-her Dragon Belt.
The master who claimed 10 symbols became Full Dragon Belt status challenger and had the honor of fighting for the Dragon Star trophy guarded by the current & reigning WMAC champion atop a rotating cylinder platform 10-feet above the main floor of the WMAC arena. Whoever defeated his-her opponent by knocking him-her off the platform into the pit would become the new guardian and Dragon Star champion to await the next master who claimed 10 symbols and challenged for the trophy. Another form of WMAC competition known as Ninja Challenge features six masters competing one at a time against Ninja or Kabuki attackers in a 45-second time limit match to score many points for take downs and knockdowns and the four masters with the highest scores face off in a Free-For-All rumble inside the Battle Dome where the winner earns 3 KI symbol talismans in a row for his-her Dragon Belt.
Unfortunately there was never a Season 3 because of poor-low ratings and the sale of WMAC merchandise didn't fare too well either.
